After the equipment for automatic manufacturing is built and tested to run properly without products, the phase commences where the equipment starts to assemble real products. Here it will be proven whether the preparation in the previous process development and product modifications phase has been executed as it should, by checking all the individual processes on the production equipment.  

The equipment is validated when we can show that installed utilities and processes work properly according to functional specifications and that a good product can be created.

After this step, the product is ready for automated production.
